Rank checker: do the pages AI cites also rank in Google?

See whether the pages AI engines cite also rank in Google.

In short

The Google Rank Checker measures observed Google organic position of a domain for specific keywords, market and device. You get a clear yes/no on whether the pages you want AI to cite are findable in Google, which page ranks, who outranks you and whether an AI Overview already answers the query — dated, so you can re-check later.

This check is temporarily unavailable

The Google Rank Checker only ever shows live data, so the form is switched off until the check is back. Ask us to run it for you — free, by hand, with the same evidence the tool would give.

What this checks

Coverage: Live Google organic results for one market (India, United States, United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, Canada, Australia, Singapore or Germany), an optional city and one device per check, for up to five keywords — fetched from a SERP data provider at the moment of the check, never estimated.

  • Organic position of your domain (first 50 results) for each keyword
  • The exact URL that ranks and the top-10 competitors
  • Ads, AI Overview, local pack and People Also Ask on the same results page
  • One market and device per check; optional city targeting

Limitations

  • Rankings are a live snapshot for one location, device and language at the moment of the check; Google personalises results, so what any individual sees can differ.
  • Only the first 50 organic results are examined; 'Not in top 50' means not found in that range, not absent from Google.
  • Position counts organic results (rank group). Ads, AI Overviews and other features above them are reported separately.

What you get

  • A clear yes/no on whether the pages you want AI to cite are findable in Google, which page ranks, who outranks you and whether an AI Overview already answers the query — dated, so you can re-check later.
  • Free and without sign-up: up to 5 checks per visitor per day; identical inputs within a few hours reuse the stored result.
  • Every result names its data source and the time of the check, lists its limitations and comes with a shareable report link.
  • Location, device and the data provider's coverage affect what is observed; it is a snapshot, not a trend.

How to use it

  1. Enter the domain you want to find, with or without www. Subdomains count as yours.
  2. Add up to five keywords, one per line — the phrases your buyers search, ideally the ones you want AI engines to cite you for.
  3. Choose the market, an optional city for local results and the device (desktop or mobile). Each combination is a different results page.
  4. Run the check. One live Google results page is fetched per keyword; results usually arrive within 5–30 seconds.
  5. Leave your email only if you want us to follow up. The shareable report link works without it.

How to read the results

  • Position is your organic rank among the first 50 organic results (the rank group). “Not in top 50” means not found in that range, not absent from Google.
  • The ranking URL shows which page Google chose. If it is not the page you want AI engines to cite, that is the first thing to fix.
  • The top-10 list shows who outranks you; the feature tags show whether an AI Overview, featured snippet, local pack, People Also Ask block or ads appeared on the same page.
  • An AI Overview tag means Google already answers that query generatively. The check reports its presence, not which sources it cited — open the query yourself to see them.
  • Results are a dated snapshot for that location and device; Google personalises results, so individuals may see something different. Identical inputs within six hours reuse the stored result.

Methodology

How the check works

  1. Rankings come from DataForSEO's live Google organic SERP endpoint: one request per keyword with depth 50, the market's country (or “City, Country”) as the location, the market's language code and the chosen device.
  2. Your position is the rank group (organic position) of the first result whose hostname equals the entered domain or a subdomain of it. The absolute position counting ads and features is reported separately.
  3. The first ten organic results, the number of paid ads and the presence of an AI Overview, featured snippet, local pack and People Also Ask block are read from the same results page.
  4. Nothing about traffic, keyword difficulty or future movement is inferred.
Data source
DataForSEO, live Google organic SERP (one request per keyword, fetched at the moment of the check).
Depth
The first 50 organic results. “Not in top 50” means not found in that range.
Your position
The rank group (organic position) of the first result whose hostname equals the entered domain or a subdomain of it. The absolute position counting ads and features is reported separately.
Location, language, device
The market's country, or “City, Country” when a city is given; the market's language code; desktop or mobile.
Also read from the same page
The first ten organic results, the number of paid ads, and whether an AI Overview, featured snippet, local pack or People Also Ask block was present.
Not inferred
Traffic, keyword difficulty, future movement or anything an individual signed-in user would see.

What is SERP feature?

A SERP feature is any element on a search engine results page other than the classic blue-link results — such as featured snippets, People Also Ask, local packs, sitelinks, video carousels, ads and AI Overviews.

SERP features change how much attention and how many clicks the organic results receive. Tracking which features appear for a keyword explains traffic changes that rankings alone cannot.
